SMART DMS developed to manage total lifecycle for weapon systems. Based on the user input data BOM(bill of materials) or part lists. SMART DMS offers integrated management service through lifecycle, obsolescence, supply chain support and failure info, for each part. Due to the rapid growth of defense technology and high requirement for performance, part lifecycle is becoming shorter and discontinued. For this reason, militaries and defense industries need to monitor the BOM lifecycle for maintaining operation rate of the weapon system. By managing parts lifecycle information, user can reduce the system operation and maintenance cost, and extend the system lifecycle.
